During a podcast interview, Vance reflected on the uncertainty of whether the world is nearing such an era, asserting that while the end times are inevitable, their arrival could be either imminent or thousands of years in the future.
In his remarks, Vance speculated about the possibility of the Antichrist already existing among humanity, citing concerns about modern societal trends that conflict with his religious views. He criticized the increasing integration of artificial intelligence into personal relationships, labeling this reliance on AI as a substitute for human interaction as “kind of satanic.” Vance argued that meaningful relationships among people are essential and warned against technology undermining these bonds.
Reflecting on his interactions with global leaders, Vance spoke of experiencing moments he described as spiritually troubling. He noted that specific comments or discussions during these high-level meetings could set off what he termed a “spiritual alarm bell,” suggesting an awareness of deeper moral or ethical disquiet.
Vance also came to the defense of President Donald Trump in response to an AI-generated image that depicted Trump in a Christ-like fashion. He contended that Trump did not intend to mock Christianity or present himself as a deity, framing the image as an attempt at humor rather than sacrilege.
